Gurkha hero awarded Victoria Cross at just 26 is laid to rest in Nepal
Commemorations marking the life and death of Captain Ram Bahadur Limbu VC have taken place in Nepal. Captain Ram Bahadur Limbu was awarded Britain's highest military decoration by Queen Elizabeth II in 1966, for gallantry during the Borneo confrontation, where he put his life in danger to save the lives of others. He was one of 13 Gurkha Victoria Cross winners and had outlived the others.
