🇬🇲 The (real) Gambia - Ep.8 (crossing to Senegal in a canoe via a remote border crossing) 👀

Hello folks, welcome back to the Gambian series. In the 8th episode Omar and I spend the day on the south Gambian/Senegal border, where the two countries are divided by a small (crocodile infested) river that cuts through a huge mangrove jungle 🐊🌳 We stay at a place called Peace Of Mind, which is run and owned by a lovely man called Lamin. Lamin went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember and it's fair to say he succeeded. So far, this was probably my favourite day here in The Gambia 🤩 We spent the day cruising up and down the river in a 'make shift' three man canoe. We visited a HUGE oyster farm, which is mainly abandoned. We put our feet on the Senegalese side of the river by using a tiny little border crossing that is primarily used and only known by the locals 🤫 We also spotted a crocodile on the river bank, which then slid into the river not too far from us. That was a bit unnerving 💩 All of this and more made it a day that I'll never forget. Big up to Lamin, what a legend for making it all happen. And a big up to Omar for getting us here.
