Surprise Visitor: Green Wood Hoopoe & 7 Other Garden Birds | The Daily Garden Perch | No music | HD

Welcome back to The Daily Garden Perch. Episode 5 is a special one because I had a surprise visitor – a beautiful Green Wood Hoopoe. This striking bird with its long tail, curved red bill, and shimmering green feathers doesn't visit often, so it was a real treat to capture on camera. But the Hoopoe wasn't alone. It turned out to be a busy morning in my South African garden, with a total of 7 bird species making an appearance in this episode. Birds featured in this episode: · Green Wood Hoopoe (the star of the show) · Cape Robin-Chat (my favourite and channel mascot) · Grey Go-away-bird (Kwevoël / Grey Loerie) · Dark-capped Bulbul · Cape White-eye · Red-headed Finch · And a couple of other garden visitors who popped in briefly! This episode captures the beautiful variety of birds that visit a suburban South African garden. Everything was calm and natural – just birds going about their morning, with one very special guest stealing the spotlight.
