After airport chaos in Marseille (unrelated to EES), we finally arrived in Tunis, picked up our rental car, and drove straight into the beautiful chaos of Tunis before having our car and luggage checked at the hotel. This was the country Terri was nervous about. Then Tunisia blew us away. In this first Tunisia video, we visit Tunis, La Marsa, the Bardo Museum, and Carthage, including the Baths of Antoninus, Byrsa Hill, the Cathedral of Saint-Louis, Théâtre antique de Carthage, and Amphithéâtre romain de Carthage. The Bardo completely overwhelmed us. The mosaics, the special exhibit, the ceiling, the building itself... Terri actually cried walking into one of the rooms. We loved Tunisia more than we expected, and we already know we'll go back. And we haven't even shown you the second part of our trip to Sousse, El Djem, and Hammamet.
