O Festival de Churrasco que entrou no Livro dos Recordes: a maior variedade de carnes do mundo

The 2026 edition of Expo Churrasco entered the Guinness Book of Records as the BBQ event with the greatest diversity of proteins ever recorded in the world, that is, the greatest variety of meat types. Held on April 25th at the Jockey Club in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, the festival showcased an impressive 43 different types of meat. More than 14 tons of meat were offered across 60 stations. From traditional beef, lamb, and pork, to buffalo, wagyu, ostrich, alligator, frog, rabbit, quail, wild boar, duck, and even Amazonian fish, the endless options delighted thousands of BBQ enthusiasts who attended the event. More than 60 stations, with renowned grill masters from Brazil and abroad, expertly and meticulously prepared different types of meat. The hardest part was trying all the available options. Unique experiences, different flavors and aromas in an atmosphere of camaraderie and joy, typical of gatherings where people have something in common: a passion for barbecue.
