$5 Dispersed Campsites // Bear River - Yampa Colorado
In this video, we check out some of the 30 designated dispersed campsites along the Bear River outside of Yampa Colorado. $5 per night gets you a picnic table and maybe a fire ring too. These sites are spread over several miles with sites 1-15 below Yamcolo Reservoir, sites 16 -21 between Yamcolo & Bear Lake, and sites 22-30 spread over 2 miles above Bear Lake. Elevation ranges from 9,500-10,000 feet. The Flat Tops Wilderness Area is on 3 sides of the Bear River Valley where these campsites are.
