Lakeview Campground Re-Revisited - Taylor Park (Gunnison National Forest) // Summer 2023

In the last 10 years, we've camped more nights in Taylor Park and the Taylor River Canyon than anywhere else. This was our 3rd time recording Lakeview Gunnison Campground. Link to our 2018 Lakeview Campground video:    • Lakeview Campground - Taylor Park   Lakeview Campground in Taylor Park Colorado consists of 68 campsites in several paved loops overlooking Taylor Park Reservoir. The elevation in the upper loop is 9600ft. Best Views: Sites 2, 3, 11, 46, and 48, are just some of the sites with a great view of Taylor Park Reservoir. Taylor Park Reservoir has 2000+ surface acres with many types of trout as well as pike. The Taylor Park Marina is located about 1/4 mile from Lakeview Campground and has several sizes of boats available to rent for either half-day or full-day. Sites 47 - 68 are in the lower loop and have electrical hookups. Handicap Accessible Sites are 52 - 54 and 64 - 66. Weather - Temps ranged from 32 - 76 degrees during many stays at Lakeview Campground, usually in early July. Lakeview Campground Trail #621 is located next to site #6. This OHV trail is 2.25 miles and connects to Union Park Rd 752. 50" width limit on this trail. OHVs are allowed in the campground. Taylor Park Trading Post is nearby and has gas, groceries, fishing gear, and clothing. An RV dump station is located about 5 miles from the campground on the road to Tincup.
