The Eagle Creek to Punchbowl Falls Hike Will Surprise You | 45 Minutes From Portland
Eagle Creek to Punchbowl Falls is a show-stopping hike that's just a scant 45-minute drive from Portland. This proximity means it's a popular hike, but you can minimize a crowded experience by going early in the morning or in the shoulder seasons. There are some scary looking cliff-edge parts of the trail, but a guideline is bolted into the rock wall next to you for safety. That said, on our recent visit to this trail there were a few brave young athletes actually RUNNING this trail, which just goes to show you that everyone has their own idea of what's safe and what's scary! It's truly lovely to see this area thriving following the fires that happened here in 2017 (pictures and video don't do it justice!) ✍️ Substack: https://amandahagen78.substack.com/ 🏡 Website: www.amandahagenrealestate.com 🩷 TikTok: @AmandaHagen_life 🤍 Insta: @amandahagenrealestate
