Free, Uncrowded, Riverside spots - North Carolina has some PRIMO National Forest Camping!

I can't believe camping spots like I found in North Carolina are free. Spots like these out west go for over $20.00 or more/day. Most are improved with fire rings, picnic tables and leveled tent sites. They do not have water or electric. They are numbered and after talking to a law enforcement ranger the area is policed and dispersed camping is only allowed in select spots which keeps the traffic down. These spots are also spaced out so you're not right on top of another group camping near you. I was really impressed with the dispersed camping options in North Carolina.
