Stunning Architecture in Batangas That Mimics Nature’s Hierarchy and Layers
The Clubhouse at Playa Laiya in San Juan, Batangas wanted to give its residents a space where they can share meaningful experiences with each other. Designed by Barchan Architecture & Design and @BuensalidoArchitects , the structure is composed of multi-leveled disks mimicking the equilibrium and effortlessness found in nature. The height of the disks are in direct proportion to the space's importance and size. Hallways and walkways have a lower ceiling height while the mulit-purpose function hall gets the biggest and highest disk. Transom windows in between the disks also allow top light to enter into the spaces while operable glass doors and windows allow for cross-ventilation.
