Diemel - Spritziges Abenteuer im Osten von Nordrhein-Westfalen, idyllische Wochendtour mit dem Kanu

First of all: I'm back! After some lengthy technical problems with my studio computer and various other time-related challenges, things are finally back on track. Several trips with plenty of equipment are waiting to find their way onto this canal. Sorry there hasn't been a new video from me for a year. The Diemel is an idyllic small river that can be paddled primarily in the east of North Rhine-Westphalia. We tackled the core section from Warburg to the Weser, with numerous weirs and many small rapids. Ride rules: Observe minimum water levels, reserve your trip in advance - quotas apply, and paddle only between April 15 and October 15. Please adhere to these rules so that more rivers don't become closed to us canoeists - and take your goddamn trash home with you ;) Thanks! Tip for arrival and transportation: We arrived in two cars, met at the end point in Beverungen, loaded all our belongings onto one car, and drove to the starting point. At the end point, everything could be loaded onto one car again, which would then be used to pick up the other car.
