Pamukkale & Hierapolis: Turkish Treasures

Many people have heard of or seen images of Pamukkale and its brilliant blue travertine terraces. I was drawn by the beauty of those natural wonders on the cliffside. When I got to the site, however, I was more attracted by the ancient ruins of the city of Hierapolis. The two places share the same space, but they have varied appeal. Places that I found most amazing were Cleopatra's Pool, the Roman Theatre, the Plutonium and of course, those terraces. All combined, it provided a wonderful day away from where I was staying in Antalya! Music provided by Epidemic Sound. I am a couple of years into full-time travel. I choose destinations that are located all around the world and show what those places are like from my perspective. I subscribe to the slow travel method and I make all of these journeys by myself. Solo travel can be extremely liberating. I invite you to see the places that I have been. That might give you ideas about where you would like to travel and possibly, areas that you want to avoid.
