Two Days in the Heartland of Korean Folk Culture

On my way from Seoul to Busan, I took a detour to visit the historical city of Andong. This city is home to the oldest surviving wooden building in Korea, the beautiful Sinse-dong painted neighbourhood and Korea's oldest brick pagoda. Andong Folk museum is an open air exhibition with real historical houses from rural Gyeongsang, where you can see how people lived during the Joseon Dynasty. Andong is also famous for the Hahoe Folk Village, which I will be exploring in my next video! For information about travelling in South Korea, you can check my website bikebuskorea.com
