Valle De Las Animas on a Budget - The Ultimate La Paz Hiking Destination

The Valle De Las Animas is the ultimate La Paz hiking location. It's also straightforward to get to the trailhead from downtown and you have numerous options. How to Get to Valle De Las Ánimas 1. Microbus 2. Taxi 3. Teleférico and Taxi 4. Teleférico and Microbus The cheapest option for those looking to save money is to take the microbus. Another options is to take a taxi from downtown. This is the most expensive, but the best for those looking to save time. Teleférico to Valle De Las Ánimas Guide I chose something in between, but infinitely more enjoyable. I took the teleférico from downtown using two cable lines: the blue and the green. The ride was breathtaking and enjoyable. Much more than sitting in traffic in a car or bus. Plus, I enjoyed wonderful views of La Paz. The whole trip totaled $.90 and brought me close enough to the trailhead that the remaining distance only cost me around $10 by taxi. But, of course, I could have taken a microbus to save even more. In this video, I outline the entire journey and how to do it. I also take you into the stunning Valle De Las Ánimas.
