Mi Teleférico in La Paz Bolivia: World's Best Public Transit

The Mi Teleférico in La Paz, Bolivia holds the Guinness World Record for longest and highest urban cable car system. Even more than that, it should be held up as an example of how to do public transportation the right way. The cable cars carry thousands of residents and visitors every day. Mi Teleférico is clean, safe, inexpensive, efficient and fast. In its first ten years of operation, Mi Teleférico carried 520-million passengers. It could very well be the best public transportation system on the planet.
