The ELAC hi-fi floorstanding loudspeaker from the Solano series makes a sleek, elegant, and modern impression. With its compact dimensions, the speaker fits well even in smaller rooms. The ELAC FS287's sound is balanced, and the soundstage is appropriate for the speaker. In my opinion, the speaker's midrange is particularly good. The spatiality is also filling without sounding muddy. Voices on TV are also easier to understand. The bass is powerful and surprising even at low volume levels. In this video, I take a closer look at the ELAC hi-fi loudspeaker. A sound check for an aural impression is also a must in this review. I included the ELAC FS249.3 as a sound battle for comparison. The sound check (sound test) was recorded binaurally, so it's best to wear headphones.
