HBCU- Preserving The Flame Film

What does it mean to preserve the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities? Preserving the Flame is a tribute to the history, impact, and future of HBCUs. Created by the HBCU Legacy Keepers, this project celebrates the institutions that have educated generations of leaders while highlighting the women who continue to shape Black higher education through visionary leadership. With a special focus on HBCUs in the South Atlantic Region, this initiative honors distinguished female chancellors and presidents, celebrates alumni achievements, inspires future generations, and promotes the long-term sustainability of HBCUs through storytelling, advocacy, community engagement, and educational resources. Join us as we celebrate the people, traditions, and institutions that continue to keep the HBCU legacy alive.
