The story behind RBS 70
More than half a century ago, a new chapter in air defence began. In 1969, development of the RBS 70 was set in motion — leading to the first orders in 1975 and operational deliveries two years later. Today, the RBS 70 stands not only as a product of history, but as a living part of it — it is the world’s most modern short-range air defence system, still evolving, still defending, and still shaping the future of the battlefield.
