KOMPAS TV: A crowd of honorary madrasa teachers from various regions demonstrated to demand promotion to the P3K (State Civil Apparatus) or ASN (State Civil Apparatus). Before heading to the Indonesian Parliament Building, a demonstration also took place on Jalan Gerbang Pemuda, Senayan, Jakarta. Several alliances of madrasa teachers held a demonstration demanding welfare and the promotion of government employees with work contracts, or P3K, to the government. The demonstration, coinciding with National Awakening Day, took place on Jalan Gerbang Pemuda, Senayan. A number of madrasa teachers, both private and contract teachers, also demanded a revision of Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning the State Civil Apparatus. The madrasa teacher demonstration, which filled the Gerbang Pemuda area in Senayan, was interrupted when President Prabowo Subianto's entourage passed through the area. The president, waving from his vehicle, greeted the protesters. However, no communication took place between the demonstrators and President Prabowo.
