Carro MK en el túnel de Aguas Santas, Oporto - ULMA Construction [es]

For the widest tunnel in the Iberian Peninsula, ULMA Construction has designed several solutions, above all, flexible ones. The ULMA Construction technical team developed the solution in conjunction with the client to optimize all the work by designing three structures. First, a BRIO-MK scaffolding trolley for waterproofing the entire tunnel. A second, similar trolley for the rebar work. In both cases, ULMA Construction's two most versatile systems were combined, resulting in optimized trolleys tailored to the project requirements without oversizing the structure. And finally, an MK formwork trolley system to allow for the concreting of the tunnel. Different geometries can be created within the same tunnel using the same trolley; hence its use in this case, as the tunnel consists of four typical sections with varying bottom sections. Furthermore, this solution takes into account the passage of vehicles, a necessary requirement in this type of project. Choosing the MK trolley is a flexible, high-performance solution. It's designed with a high load-bearing capacity without compromising its ability to adapt to different sections.
