A 2009 repeat showing on BBC Parliament introduced by Anthony Howard RT billing - This film, the second in a series made in co-operation with the Civic Trust, tells the story of a family who move from the slums into a new housing estate in Birmingham. It shows something of the feelings of a young widow, her two boys, and their cat, from the day that the removal van arrives until they have settled down to a new way of life.
