Weinheim, Germany: the town of two castles with a historic old town

Weinheim is a small town located between Frankfurt and Heidelberg. It's usually not in the bucket list of travellers, but this charming little town is really nice for a short and peaceful trip. You can enjoy the half-timbered houses that make old German towns so unique, or you can climb to the ruins of a medieval castle and enjoy the view from there. In Spring you may even visit some vineyards to try quality wine.
