Exploring RAF Culmhead - Somerset Vlog P2
Following on from last week's video exploring Tonedale Mills in Somerset, we continue on to the foggy deserted expanse of RAF Culmhead not too far away. This Second World War airfield has been left to decay since its service, with many of the buildings left dormant and sleeping on this vast complex which surrounds a modern solar panel farm. We were lucky enough to see the control tower, numerous sheds and outbuildings including a parachute store, a blister hangar, fighter pens, air raid shelters, and defensive positions. The list goes on - grab a dandelion and burdock and sit tight for this chock-a-block vlog!
