Today we're getting our hands on a modern K9K Diesel and I want to answer the question everyone's asking: With all the stuff they stuff in the hood, can you still get a timing belt done properly? And I'll tell you the truth: Renault did a good job here, there's plenty of room, and it seemed like a pretty "clean" job... BUT... as always in the workshop, the reality is different. I found a leak that looked like the WATER pump... but no. THE GUILTIER WAS IT: a leaking PLUG in the cylinder head in an absurd and inconvenient position. Forget the videos on the internet where it "comes off in 2 minutes"... here we got our hands really dirty.
