Is Sunnyside Pizzeria Worth It? 🍕Viral Photo Drinks & One of The Best Pizzas Near Atlanta

For Episode 45, we visited Sunnyside Pizzeria in Sandy Springs, Georgia, a cozy neighborhood restaurant known for handcrafted pizzas, pasta, cocktails, and one of the most unique drink experiences we’ve seen in Atlanta. If you’ve seen those cocktails with custom photos printed on top, this is one of the places offering that experience. We decided to try the viral photo drink for ourselves and see if the food could live up to the hype. Here’s what we ordered: • Lemon Cheesecake Martini (Virgin Version) • Blueberry Zero-Proof Mocktail • Lemon Pepper Wings • Meatballs • Spaghetti & Meatballs • Pepperoni Pizza • Peach Sorbet The custom photo martini was definitely a fun experience and turned out adorable. If you’re planning to order one, bring a clear portrait photo with a simple background for the best print quality. While the drinks were fun, the biggest surprise of the night was the pizza. The pepperoni pizza featured San Marzano tomato sauce, cup-and-char pepperoni, mozzarella, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. The crust had the perfect chewy bite, the sauce was flavorful, and the pepperoni delivered exactly what we look for in a great pizza. This easily became one of our favorite pizza slices we’ve had in Atlanta. The meatballs were another standout. Tender, flavorful, and served with marinara and toasted baguette, they were one of the best appetizers of the evening. To finish the meal, we tried the peach sorbet, which tasted like biting into a fresh peach. Sweet, tart, refreshing, and the perfect ending to the meal.
