Arguably The Best Pizza In Atlanta? | Luxe Dinner, Mocktails & Desserts | Living Noire Ep. 35
Welcome back to the channel, Noire Babes. For Episode 35 of Living Noire, we visited Double Zero — a modern Italian spot known for its handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and elevated yet approachable dining experience. We’ve been here before for their pizza-making class (which we loved), but this time we came back to explore the full menu — and this visit was a slam dunk. Here’s what we tried during this visit: • Buona Sera mocktail • Virgo’s Groove mocktail • Garlic knot • Happy hour meatballs • Pepperoni pizza with Calabrian chilies • Patagonia salmon • Cacio e pepe (add-on) After dinner, we made a dessert stop at Van Leeuwen Ice Cream: • Hazelnut chocolate sundae • Salted caramel sundae The garlic knot was an instant standout — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in a rich, herby garlic butter that made it hard not to order another. The pepperoni pizza was exactly what we look for when we say we want pizza — thin, chewy, slightly crisp, and perfectly balanced. It’s arguably one of the best pizzas in Atlanta. Adding the Calabrian chilies took it to another level with a subtle, tangy heat. The salmon was another highlight — crispy on the outside with a tender, flaky center and a rich, well-balanced flavor. Easily one of the best salmon dishes we’ve had in the city. We also loved the cacio e pepe add-on — creamy, peppery, and one of the best versions of this dish we’ve had. For drinks, the Buona Sera mocktail stood out with its sweet, herb-forward flavor, while the Virgo’s Groove leaned more citrusy, with blood orange notes that may depend on your personal preference. Ending the night at Van Leeuwen was the perfect way to wrap the experience — their hazelnut chocolate sundae remains a favorite, while the salted caramel sundae delivered that warm-and-cold contrast that makes dessert feel complete. This visit reminded us that Double Zero is more than just a pizza spot — it’s a well-rounded dining experience with standout dishes across the menu. ⸻ What to Know Before You Go Location: Atlanta, GA Vibe: Modern Italian with a lively, upscale-casual atmosphere Best for: Date nights, casual elevated dinners, and pasta + pizza lovers Dress code: Smart casual — relaxed but polished looks work well Best seating: Indoor dining for full ambiance Standout dishes: Garlic knot, pepperoni pizza, Patagonia salmon, cacio e pepe Drink note: Mocktails are strong, especially the Buona Sera Dessert tip: Great spot for dinner, then grab dessert nearby Parking: Can vary by location — plan ahead Transportation: Lyft recommended for a smooth night out Mom verdict: Bring Mom Immediately ⸻ Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe — and tell us which dish you’d order first. 📍 ATL-based.
