Israel. North of the country. A journey through the north. Meron Stream. Beautiful pools and backwaters, 2 hours. So, leaving a beautiful mountain trail, I came to the Amud-Meron streams. Amud Stream (the only part of it here is a dry bed) went downhill, but from the bridge over Meron Stream, I headed uphill to the pools and ponds. We encountered many wild boars with piglets along the way; there were no tourists yet, so I walked in splendid isolation and came to the first beautiful pool, into which the water fell from a large rock, from which I decided to jump into the cool, clear water. Further on, there was another pool, and then I walked along the stream itself to a small waterfall, where the water ended. The path led among rocks and stones towards the exit. We met tourist groups. Having reached the village of Meron, I caught a bus that pulled up and returned home. This was the second part of my beautiful and exciting journey.
