This bird is not only known as the Bird of Paradise, performing the most stunning ballet in the world, but it is also a symbol of our earth's last defense. Amidst the threat of the climate crisis, West Papua's forests stand as one of the world's three remaining climate regulators. Through my camera lens, I witnessed how this Bird of Paradise works as a 'master architect', nurturing and maintaining the regeneration of our tropical forests.
