This is a historic hot spring inn that was founded in 1907. While the common areas of the building still retain their original appearance, the rooms have been renovated to provide a comfortable stay. All of the baths are filled with natural hot spring water, and the cave bath is so famous it has been featured on television and in travel magazines. All of the meals prepared by the inn's proprietress are delicious and very satisfying! They use home-grown rice and local ingredients, and the water used in the cooking is hot spring water. In June, fireflies dance over the Machida River in front of the inn, allowing you to encounter the original Japanese landscape. The inn is filled with repeat guests, and some have been coming for 30 years. This is a hot spring inn that coexists with nature and has long been loved by travelers.
