Video tour of the Kees and Claire Hut, Russet Lake, BC

Video tour of the brand new Kees and Claire Hut at Russet Lake near Whistler in Garibaldi Park, BC. The hut is the first of three built along the Spearhead Traverse, a popular ski touring route. The hut is a stunning venue with many amenities, including dishes and cookware, propane stoves, water, heat, lights, USB charging stations, a dry room and composting toilets. Operated by the Alpine Club of Canada. Hike to it in the summer from Whistler over Musical Bumps (gondola pass required) or up Fitzsimmons Creek/Singing Pass (free but less spectacular).
