Ilur cruising dinghy. Using belt and braces to keep Tilly's mast up.
Tilly has an un stayed mast to support her balanced lug sail. No doubt there are many good ways to support a mast with no stays. This is just my solution. I wanted to share it because it works really well for me. It is perhaps more than is necessary in some respects, and that is why I describe it as a belt and braces method.
