Matariki sail. Ilur cruising dinghy, Lake Te Anau, NZ
Tilly is an Ilur cruising dinghy, Designed by Francois Vivier. https://www.vivierboats.com/en/ I built Tilly in 2024 and filmed my journey of building the boat, and since then have continued filming my sailing adventures. I sail in the bottom SW corner of the South Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand, on the southern lakes. We live on the boundary of the Fiordland National Park. Sailing conditions can often be tricky due to the unpredictable local conditions, but it is also an amazing place to explore in a small boat. Tilly is an Ilur dinghy designed by Francois Vivier 5m long with a single balanced lug sail.
