Starting from Pian del Lupo, you'll immerse yourself in a larch forest that leads to Alpe dell'Oro, where the view of the north face of Monte Disgrazia will leave you breathless. Continuing towards Piani di Fora, the real surprise is the spectacular frozen waterfalls that embroider the rock walls with imposing blue flows. The trail then continues among wild views and sudden sightings of chamois, before descending towards the Chiareggio plain, completing the loop amidst the murmur of the Mallero River and the magical atmosphere of an old-world village. It's a beautiful hike, and in our case, there were plenty of surprises, with every corner offering a different emotion.
