Muay Thai Gym: FitFac Gym (how we were approved for the visa!) 9 months of 1:1 personal Muay Thai training 45 sessions + unlimited gym access Visa-supportive documentation package included Cost: 35,990 baht (~$1,200 USD) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DTV VISA: Must be at least 20 years old No visa overstay history in Thailand Have 500,000 THB (~$15,500 USD) in a bank account (Or provide a sponsor in Thailand (case-by-case) Dependents: Spouse or children under 20, unmarried APPLICATION PROCESS: Apply at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ Prepare documents: Passport bio page Passport-style photo (white background) Proof of residency (e.g. utility bill, bank statement)- 6 months of bank statements Payslips Activity confirmation (Muay Thai/cooking course) Flight info & Airbnb/hotel booking confirmation Certificate of relationship (if applying for dependents) Proof of immigration status (if applicable) Upload documents online + pay visa fee Important Notes: Most embassies require online applications—no in-person appointments Double-check your bank account matches your current country of residence Expect follow-up emails—watch your inbox after applying DTV Check-In Requirements after moving to Thailand: First 90-day check-in must be in person at designated immigration office (In Bangkok, there is only one approved location) Subsequent check-ins can often be done online Check-in window: 15 days before or 7 days after your 90-day mark Documents Needed at Check-Ins: Passport TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) fill this out BEFORE arriving in Thailand! Proof of residency (Airbnb receipt, utility bill, etc.) TIPS for Smooth Approval: Make sure your bank documents match your country of residence If no response after 1 week, call/email the consulate politely asking if they need any other information to complete the visa.
