We Tried Filming a Weekly Vlog… Bangkok Had Other Plans 🇹🇭

This Wasn't the Plan. 😅 We sat down to film what we thought would be a normal weekly vlog in Bangkok... but one invitation led to another, and suddenly our entire week took on a life of its own. So come along as we explore even more of Bangkok with our friend Nan, visiting one of her oldest friend's cafes called Waterworks Café & Bistro, where we enjoy delicious homemade food served on tables made from old water pipes. We tour surprisingly affordable Bangkok condos, comparing rental and purchase prices, then explore a massive local mall via airplane (thank heavens Nan has her pilot's license! 🙀)... and that's just day one! On day two, we unexpectedly find ourselves aboard Bangkok's Michelin-recognized Thai Bus Food Tour, taking in some of the city's most iconic sights while enjoying world-class food from the comfort of the air-conditioned upper deck. And when Steve tells me he's never wandered through Talad Noi, I OBVIOUSLY have to drag him around the entire neighborhood. We discover incredible street art, personality-filled alleyways, and eventually end up at Mother Roaster, which I'm pretty sure is secretly run by cats... although they take their coffee VERY seriously. 😻 It's a whirlwind of an adventure, but the big question is... can I actually squeeze an entire week of living in Bangkok into one vlog?! 🧐 This is one of those weeks that reminds us exactly why we packed up our lives and moved to Bangkok in the first place. The city has a funny way of taking your plans, throwing them out the window, and replacing them with experiences you never would have found otherwise.
