192. Clay, Chaos & Friendship with Lucy from West2 Ceramics

I went on a very special pottery road trip to spend two days with my lovely friend Lucy from West2 Ceramics 💜 Lucy has been going through an incredibly difficult time recently, so this visit was all about friendship, laughter, clay, distraction, hugs, and spending some proper time together. I packed up the cameras, drove 2.5 hours to South Wales, stayed overnight, met Lucy’s gorgeous daughter, her two Rottweilers Ted and Indi, and her cats Mo and Tonka… and of course we got into the studio and made a LOT of pottery chaos together. This video is a relaxed behind-the-scenes vlog from our two days together, with snippets of Lucy’s studio, airpen work, wuurm making, bloopers, outtakes, pottery chats, lots of laughter, and a little taste of the videos still to come. We filmed quite a few collaboration videos while I was there, including airpen demonstrations, swapped pottery pieces, glazing plans, and maybe even a late-night wuurm-making video with a glass of wine or two.
