Spring Lambing and Homestead Life Off-Grid in Norway | Norwegian Heritage Sheep & Farm Life It's April on our small off-grid farm in Norway. Most of it is about lambs and sleepless nights, and throughout the video there are a total of three lambings. It's incredible to follow the newborn lambs as they stand up within minutes and start jumping around after just a few hours. Norwegian wild sheep / Old Norwegian Spælsau are amazing animals. There’s a lot of excitement, both for us and the sheep. Inge, who the past two years has gotten seriously ill with milk fever around lambing time, is nervous and seeks a lot of cuddles and comfort. Finally, it's her turn at the end of the video. It’s also time for spring work, planting and sowing—something there's hardly time for with all the lambing going on.
