Y102's FIRST Public Appearance! | Seymour Railway Heritage Centre's Open Days 2024

On the weekend of the 9th & 10th of November 2024, Seymour Railway Heritage Centre hosted their annual Open Days exhibiting a variety of their diesel and steam locomotives, as well as their carriages and preserved rollingstock. I arrived at the event with the smell of diesel in the air, and then greeted by SRHC's restored diesel locomotives T378 & T382 and newly brought out V/line locomotive Y102. Y102 - An ex-V/line locomotive in which SRHC had put away in storage after its withdrawal from mainline service. On October 25th, 2024, the locomotive would be started up for the first time in 31 years and made its first public appearance in this video!
