DOOLEY NOTED: Medial Intermuscular Septum for Ulnar Nerve Entrapment
Video Dooley Noted: 6/23/2016 Medial Intermuscular Septum for Ulnar Nerve Entrapment In this video segment of Dooley Noted, I discuss a commonly overlooked ulnar nerve entrapment site in the arm. The ulnar nerve is found imbedded in the medial Intermuscular septum with its artery, the superior collateral artery. This septum separates brachialis, and elbow flexor, from medial head of triceps brachii, an elbow extensor. Learn to locate this common entrapment site that causes numbness and tingling into the fourth and fifth digits. In early stages, it can cause grip weakness into the pinky side. Enjoy, and I hope you find this useful! As always, it's your call. Dr. Kathy Dooley
