Quando sua coleção de Anthuriums cresce, o hobby muda

Is a larger collection always better? Or can a smaller collection provide a richer experience with each plant? In this episode, I share a reflection on how the world of plant collecting changes as the collection grows. With fewer plants, we can usually dedicate more time, observation, and care to each individual. Larger collections, however, open up space for greater experiences, genetic diversity, new pollinations, comparison between individuals, priorities, choices, and a broader understanding of the processes involved in cultivation. Throughout the video, I show how these two realities coexist within the world of Anthurium collections. While a smaller collection favors the individual development of plants, a larger collection expands the possibilities for experimentation, genetic selection, certain detachments, selections, and the production of new hybrids. In the end, perhaps a large collection and a small collection are not better or worse versions of each other. They are simply different dimensions of the same hobby. 🌿 Meet the Anthurium ‘Tropican Shadow’:    • Anthurium 'Tropican Shadow' e sua Sibling ...   📸 Instagram:   / jardineirosurbanos   #anthurium #plantcollection #plantsfromflay *** Furthermore, if you enjoy or are interested in learning more about the concept of Plant Collection in Brazil and the World: Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel, activate the bell to receive all update notifications, including updates in the Community, like the episode and share it with your friends or people you know who might be interested in this universe of plant collecting.
