Walking The Abandoned LE&E Railroad bridge! ~gone with the steel mills~ Youngstown, Ohio
Youngstown, Ohio was a leader in the Steel Industry, hence the name Steel Town, USA! Along with steel came the railroad! Back in 1912 the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad built a 7 mile stretch to serve that steel industry! That stretch was for the Lake Erie and Eastern Railroad. Decline of the steel industry meant decline of the railroad, leaving empty rails and abandoned bridges. One of those bridges would be the abandoned LE&E railroad Bridge! Let's walk across and explore the rails! so to speak! #adventure #explore #abandoned #railroad #train #youngstown #steel
