Set four years after the events of Jurassic Park, the film follows Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) as he returns to the world of genetically engineered dinosaurs—this time to rescue his girlfriend, paleontologist Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore), and survive a corporate expedition that wants to bring dinosaurs to the mainland. Also starring Vince Vaughn as documentarian Nick Van Owen and Pete Postlethwaite as big-game hunter Roland Tembo, this sequel cranks up the danger and the T-Rex rampage.
