On June 11, 1962, Frank Morris, Clarence Anglin and John Anglin escaped from the “inescapable super prison” Alcatraz. They have never officially been seen or heard from since, and therefore, presumed dead. The authorities determined that they drowned in the waters between Alcatraz and the San Francisco Bay shoreline, however, none of their bodies were recovered, nor did they ever wash up on shore – despite the fact that on average, 3 out of 4 bodies do wash up.
