New Grant Funds Research on the NF1 Gene in Sarcomas
The Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative and the Alan B. Slifka Foundation are co-funding a study on rhabdomyosarcoma, undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma, and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor. In the study, David Kirsch, MD, PhD and Rebecca Dodd, PhD at Duke University will explore the role of neurofibromin 1 (NF1) mutations in the development and therapeutic response of sarcomas.
