Neurofibromatosis: NF2 and the MISME Syndrome
Neurofibromatosis Type 2 is an inherited risk factor for brain and spinal cord tumors. It is not related to von Recklinghausen disease by genetics nor pathology. NF2 may best be remembered as: Multiple Inherited Schwannoma Meningioma and Ependymoma neoplasms.
