A new electronic interlocking system is being built in Basel, which will control train traffic in the region. Deutsche Bahn is currently constructing a new cable infrastructure for this purpose. In our latest vlog episode, we take you along to the construction site around Basel's Badischer Bahnhof (Baden Station). Together with our project engineer, Udo Lau, we take a look behind the scenes of the underground cable installation: from work in the track area and cable ducts to core drilling in the utility tunnel.
