La Castorone di Saipem pronta per attraversare il Bosforo
La mastodontica nave posa tubi attraverserà lo stretto che collega il Mar di Marmara al Mar Nero per andare ad operare sul progetto Sakarya Gas Field Development, che prevede il trasporto e l’installazione di condotte in acque profonde in Turchia, a circa 175 km al largo della costa di Eregli. La Castorone ha iniziato le operazioni previste per il progetto Sakarya nella primavera del 2022 e ha già installato circa 3.500 km di condotte ad una profondità massima di 2.200 metri.
