Building EUROPE'S NEWEST UNDERWATER PIPELINE

I've spent the summer of 2021 working on an anchor handling vessel contracted for the Baltic Pipe Project. We started tandem towing the pipelaying platfrom CastoroSEI from Rotterdam with the GH Endurance. Joined by the Maersk Handler on location, the 3 of us began hauling anchors as the Castoro would advance with the pipelay progress. I've made this video to document my experience and provide insight into how subsea pipelines are laid, who is involved and how everything actually comes together. Equipment used is Panasonic GH5, Rode VideoMic Pro, Blue YETI, MavicMini and Mavic Air 2. Video rendered in Adobe Premier and audio in Adobe Audition.
