Day 268 Project Rance — Character Data Asset [TBS]

01/07/2026 Added Data Asset for TBS characters to store character-specific data. For now, I only added the character ID, name, and icon, but I may add more data later. I also created two different head icons for the Aurora variations and assigned them to the corresponding characters. Now, the icon displayed in the character stats panel is determined by the head icon assigned to each character. I chose DA since it worked better for content organization, I can also use structure but for the TBS I think I will stick to DA for now at least. I am not fully sure yet whether I will store attribute data, such as health, AP, and level, in the Data Asset, or continue using the base actor attributes that I previously implemented in C++. I will decide this during later development.
