Indonesia's Development Is Insane! 🇮🇩 Modern Jakarta Shocked Us (PIK 2)

Today we explored one of Jakartas most modern and least shown Areas, the PIK and PIK2 Area close to Soekarno Hatta Airport here in Jakarta, Indonesia🇮🇩 After we checked out the SCBD area in downtown Jakarta we got a lot of comments suggesting we should visit the PIK area, so that’s exactly what we did and it really did not disappoint! The area is brand new and really offers a modern cityscape directly at the ocean here in Jakarta. While some parts of the area are still under development, you can already see the great infrastructure and modern cityscape which is being built here in Jakarta. We went to the Chinatown in the PIK area and enjoyed a Chinese lunch. After that we checked out the promenade and rented an electric TukTuk to see as much as possible of the PIK area, what a fun activity! We explored the entire area and ended up in a Mixieu Ice cream shop where we enjoyed some sweet delights. After that we grabbed a Gojek and headed to the PIK 2 Area, to the Aloha beach which felt like a little Hawaii in Jakarta. We enjoyed the beach and got some bola Ubi. What an interesting view on Jakarta, and definitely an Area which looks quite promising!
